Almost every interview I’m asked how I got started and WHY did I choose to change careers?
The memories flood back of my father’s heart attack, ovarian cysts, a host of health scares and misdiagnosis which have led to each and every new certificate and path of academic and personal development. In 2018 an anaphylactic near-death experience left me scared and confused.
“If no one seems to have the answers I need, I’m not going to stop searching until I find what, how and who will help me figure it out!”
I’m persistent, as well as passionate and I’ve not once settled for accepting the “status quo”. I’m a solution specialist, optimal performance and breaking through barriers is my forte. I love a good challenge and live by the motto “where there’s a will there’s a way!”
I know the frustration of working so damn hard and not getting what you want, when you’re adamant you’re doing all the right things. I’ve been there.
Why isn’t this working? What am I doing wrong?
I used to be content on being a “best kept secret”, but when I nearly died of an unknown food allergy, that was all the wake up call I needed and my inspiration to find the answers so I could share my story and prevent others from suffering like I did, and have, I knew I couldn’t stay quiet anymore.
