I only had two goals in mind. And that was to lose 5kg and to bounce back mentally from tapering off anxiety pills. 

I use to jump on the treadmill religiously hoping to become 'skinny' with very little results. 

That was before I started training with Ria. 

Ria changed my whole mentality towards ‘losing weight’, there was so much more behind it than what I could’ve ever known.

Ria trained me and to compliment this she educated me with the importance of nourishing my body with the right foods.

During the process, I let go of the obsession of losing weight, I stopped jumping on the scale every morning and I focused on what was important. Healthy eating. Training. 

I have never looked back. With Ria's guidance, support and motivation I've made so many gains, nutritionally, mentally, physically and holistically. 

I’m not skinny, I am stronger. My body is nourished, I'm in better shape than I have ever been and my mind is clearer. 

I could've never imagined where I'd be today if it hadn't been for what Ria has given me. Opportunities that I'd once thought impossible are possible #bikinimama. 

There is a saying, 'Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.' This saying fits aptly well with everything that Ria has taught me. I will take with me her knowledge for many, many years to come.

I started training with Ria when I was 19 weeks pregnant with my first child, in the hope of being a bit more prepared for labour. That was over 3 years ago. What I didn't anticipate was how important the mental aspect would be, learning quickly that having the right outlook was key to getting through. Being pregnant didn't mean Ria made life easy! Exercises were adapted for physical limitations, but still challenging enough to provide the satisfaction of achieving progress. Having never seen a PT before, I was very nervous about venturing onto the gym floor away from pump classes and the treadmill. I was quickly reassured by Ria's quiet efficiency and calm competence, and now have the confidence and knowledge to use other equipment independently.

Ria takes a genuine interest in her clients, and enjoys being a part of their fitness journeys; her success is seeing your success. She's tough but not harsh, knows when to push limits and when to ease off. There is no “I can't” allowed, but lots of “we can”, with plenty of laughs and fun along the way.

Ria is a very talented Personal Trainer. She pushes me to my limits and is there to support me through my fitness journey. She explains exercises well and ensures you get the most out of your sessions.

During my pregnancies Ria adapted my training to suit the different stages I was going through yet still allowed me to push myself and train (within reason). She is a very professional trainer and practices what she preaches. Ria is a lovely, easygoing person and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I have to say Ria is by far the BEST trainer I’ve ever had. (She’s also a beautiful person). I've been training with Ria for about five months now and I have never felt so strong, confident and energised. I am now seeing muscles in places I never thought I could. 

She is so professional, passionate and makes you feel very comfortable with her at every work out with an element of fun. I love the way she focuses on your technique and breathing, plus I also love the fact that she emails all your workouts and eating plans to me so they are on hand whenever I need to check anything. The most amazing thing she also does is work not just on your outer appearance, but your inner health with the correct vitamins and nutrition. 

Ria is a very approachable trainer and I know if I ever have questions or queries I can contact her anytime. I also love how she regularly does the pinch test (BioSignature) to keep you on track.
