I started training with Ria when I was 19 weeks pregnant with my first child, in the hope of being a bit more prepared for labour. That was over 3 years ago. What I didn't anticipate was how important the mental aspect would be, learning quickly that having the right outlook was key to getting through. Being pregnant didn't mean Ria made life easy!
I only had two goals in mind. And that was to lose 5kg and to bounce back mentally from tapering off anxiety pills. I use to jump on the treadmill religiously hoping to become 'skinny' with very little results. That was before I started training with Ria.
